Founder, Program Developer, Coach

Erin created and developed MoveAbility based on previously successful programming since 2011 instructing fitness, gymnastics and dance classes for children with special needs in the London, Cambridge and Guelph areas. Designing programs that supports youth with disabilities flourish in sport and performance environments has been her passion over the last decade and continues to motivate her to make a difference in every MoveAbility athlete.

Previous education includes a Bachelor of Arts, Honors Specialization Kinesiology, with a minor in Dance, and a Bachelor of Education in Health and Physical Education,  with a special focus on Special Education. Erin is also a member of the Ontario College of Teachers, Canadain Dance Teachers Association, and National Coaching Certification Program. She also has her Children's Yoga Certification, Certified Gymnastics Level 1, and is fully certified in First Aid and CPR.

We ensure every coach that participates in any MoveAbility class is highly qualified within their field and understands the different coaching styles and personalities needed to motivate atheltes with disabilites. MoveAbility ensures high levels of quality care for your child.

Our Volunteers are not only passionate about encouraging children with special needs in sports and the Arts, but they are educated students and community leaders who have a strong desire to advocate and help those who would benefit the most from movement therapy and regular physical programming. Nurse Practistioners, Early Childhood Educators, Teachers, and Kinesiologists are just some off the amazing volunteers we have! 

* All volunteers over 18 years of age also require to have a current Criminal Record Background Check  and Vulnerable Screening Test as well as standard First Aid and CPR training.
